About
Events in SA is a community-compiled directory of upcoming events in South African cities. We focus on making it easy to see what is happening in the places you care about, starting with Pretoria and Cape Town.
How events get listed
- Discovery. Our system scans public venue and ticketing websites on a schedule, looking for events with dates, venues and source links. We also accept submissions from organisers and visitors through the Submit your event page.
- Review. Discovered and submitted events land in a review queue. An admin checks the details, removes duplicates and confirms the event is real before it goes live.
- Publication. Verified events are published to the directory with their city tag, category, date range and a link back to the official source. You can filter by city, category, venue, month or date.
What to expect
Because much of the discovery is automated, listings may not be perfect. Dates change, venues move and events get cancelled. Always double-check dates, venues and ticket details on the official source site before making plans.
