Events in South Africa
Church conferences, gospel recordings and road races make up much of East London's calendar, with Mdantsane hosting several of the 10km runs and marathons. The East London Guild Theatre is the busiest stage, putting on school musicals, dance shows and tribute concerts, while Christian Centre Abbotsford hosts worship events and Buffalo Park takes the bigger sporting fixtures. Maskandi and spin festivals, Xhosa heritage celebrations and touring comedy fill out the rest of the year.
