Makhanda events

Schools and campus life drive much of Makhanda's calendar, with open days and fun fairs at Graeme College and the Diocesan School for Girls, plus colour runs and trail runs. Dlepu Stadium hosts the bigger community gatherings, including youth and heritage festivals such as the Makhanda Sondela heritage festival. Touring comedy and jazz trios turn up in smaller rooms like the Beethoven Room.
