Events in South Africa
November belongs to cherries in Ficksburg. The annual Ficksburg Cherry Festival dominates the listings and pulls in a cluster of side events: a trail run, a soccer tournament at Meqheleng Stadium, a youth music festival, soul sessions and a steam festival at the Sandstone Heritage Museum. Outside festival week, very little else is listed.
