Events in South Africa
Students and the river shape Vanderbijlpark's events. Student festivals include RAGFEST and the Varsity Cultural Festival at NWU, while Emfuleni River Park hosts sunset dance sessions and outdoor days. Die Veiling Pub & Grill books Afrikaans artists and hosts a Boeredag, and the annual Vaal River City Marathon runs in September, the busiest month in the listings.
