Events in South Africa
Most of Howick's events happen at The Old Mushroom Farm, where Playhouse 5 and the main venue run a steady programme of live music, theatre, art classes and the Midlands Literary Festival. Outdoors, endurance sport dominates, with the Midlands Ultra triathlon, an open water swim at Midmar Dam and the BRiNK Karkloof Road Race. August and September are the busiest months, and Midmar Spring Fest brings a festival to the dam in November.
