Groblersdal's events use its lodges and resorts as much as its town venues. Ruby River Resort and Loskop Valley Lodge host trail runs and cycling, Kingdoms Lodge runs gospel evenings and a family market, and Groblersdal Airfield has staged a 4x4 gravel event. December brings gospel festivals and all white parties at the town's stadiums, while September is the other busy month.
