Events in South Africa
Festivals carry much of the weight in Vereeniging, led by the Vaal Jazz Festival at Dickinson Park and the Sedibeng Arts Showcase at Eldorado Arts Centre. Die Veiling Vereeniging hosts Afrikaans singers and comedy, all-white parties run at dams and lounges, and road races such as the Sedibeng and Vaal marathons cover the sporting side. September is the busiest month.
