Events in South Africa
Afrikaans community life drives Modimolle's listings, with church fundraisers such as the NG Kerk Waterberg Dankofferfees, regular Nylstroom Mark days and charity events for Ons Hoop. Castle de Wildt is the main stage for Afrikaans singers and also hosts auctions, while Ephraim Mohale Stadium is used for bigger festivals such as Makompong Fest. August and September are the busiest months.
