Events in South Africa
Sport makes up the biggest share of George's listings, from road races and trail runs to the George Landbouskou, the annual agricultural show held at the George Show Grounds in late August. George Arts Theatre carries the stage side with musicals, school drama and concerts, while the Outeniqua Family Market and Milkwood Village supply weekend markets and smaller entertainment. August to October is the busiest stretch.
